(Tokyo, China, India, Russia and Thailand) and 24-Hour Fitness (NorCal).
As well, Maria has worked with advertising and accounting firms. Additionally, she was a senior writing fellow with Santa Barbara-based Californians for Population Stabilization, where she wrote on issues related to sustainability and overpopulation. She continues to write on the connection between sustainability, overpopulation and biodiversity loss. Her commentaries have been published in daily newspapers across the U.S.
Maria majored in journalism at the University of Oklahoma. After graduating from OU, she worked in Oklahoma City, Stamford, Connecticut, and Austin, Texas, before moving to Los Angeles where she continued coursework at Santa Monica College and UCLA Extension.
Travel, work and life has come full circle, and Maria is now back in OKC! Yee-haw!
